Taste Bud

Taste Bud is located at G 34 in Sector 18. If you know the area, you know it stays crowded almost all the time. Our shop is just one of many in this block, but we like our little corner. We spend a lot of time just managing the space we have. It’s not a huge place, so things can get a bit tight when it’s busy. We start early to get everything set up before the lunch rush kicks in. The floor gets swept a few times a day because of all the dust from the street outside. Sector 18 is always moving, so there is never a quiet moment really. We handle the cooking ourselves and try to stay on top of the dishes. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients by the evening, and that’s just part of the day. The lighting inside is a little dim in the back corner, but it works for us. We don't have any fancy signs or big displays, just the name on the front. People find us because they are around the sector or they live nearby. Working at G 34 means we see a lot of different faces every single day. It can be tiring standing on your feet all day, but we are used to it by now. We just keep the stove going and wait for the next person to walk through the door and ask for something to eat.
