You can find us on the second floor of D-313 in Sector-10. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when we are carrying rolls of leather or heavy tools. The air in here always has that strong, earthy smell of tanned hides. We have workbenches set up near the windows to get the best light, though we still use some old lamps when it gets cloudy. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You’ll see scraps of leather on the floor and needles sitting in jars. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone busy stitching or cutting. We spend our time making sure the seams are straight and the leather doesn't have any bad marks. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of thread and have to go hunting for it in the local market. It’s just the way it goes. We’re not a huge factory with machines doing everything. We do things mostly by hand, so it takes time and there are often little mistakes we have to fix. We just focus on the work in front of us and try to get the orders shipped out before the weekend starts. It’s a quiet life up here on the second floor, mostly, just us and the materials we work with.
