Singhal Iron Store

Singhal Iron Store is right on Begmabad Road in the Modinagar district. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and tractors passing by all day long, so it gets quite dusty around here. We have piles of iron rods and sheets stacked up, and moving them around is a workout for everyone involved. The shop is more of a yard with a small roofed area where we keep the desk and the phone. We don't have any air conditioning, so we just rely on a couple of old ceiling fans that creak while they spin. Working with iron means our hands are almost always dirty, and we’ve all got a few scars from sharp edges over the years. Modinagar is a hardworking place, and we fit right in with the local vibe. We don't do any big promotions or sales events. People just know that if they need iron for a project or a building, they can find us here on the main road. The sun beats down on the metal, making it hot to the touch in the middle of the day. We usually take a long break for lunch when the heat is at its worst and then get back to it. It’s a simple, physical business that doesn't require any fancy talk. We just weigh the metal, settle the price, and help load it onto the customer's vehicle. It’s been our way for years and we don't plan to change it.
