Down in Sector 10 at A 107, that’s where we do all our rubber work. It’s an old building, and the walls have seen better days, but the machines inside still run fine. We spend our days molding rubber into different shapes, like bushes, washers, or whatever small parts local factories need. The smell of heating rubber is quite strong, and it fills the whole street sometimes. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find me or one of the guys covered in a bit of soot or grime from the presses. It's a hot job, especially when the molds are at full temperature. We have to be careful with the timing so the rubber doesn't burn or stay too soft. Often, a customer brings in an old, worn-out part and asks if we can make a hundred more just like it. We take the measurements, make a die, and start the run. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend hours fixing a leak or a heater. It’s not glamorous at all. We just focus on making parts that fit and last. The floor is always a bit slippery, and there are boxes of finished goods waiting to be picked up near the door. It’s just a small-scale operation, but we’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us in this industrial lane.
