Working at Flexduct Pvt Ltd means being out in the Noida Special Economic Zone Phase-ii, specifically at 112/113. It’s a massive area and it takes a while just to get through the gates in the morning. Our facility is pretty big because we need the space for all the ducting we handle. It’s mostly metal and heavy materials around here. The sound of cutting and bending is constant. You have to shout if you want someone to hear you across the floor. We wear our work clothes and they usually end up pretty grimy by the afternoon. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving things from one end of the shop to the other. We have a lot of paperwork to keep track of because of being in the special zone, which can be a real headache sometimes. The office part of the building is just a few desks shoved into a corner where it's a little quieter. Most of the time we’re just focused on meeting the daily numbers and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. It’s a long commute for most of us, so we’re usually pretty tired when we get here. We don't spend much time talking about anything other than the work that needs to be done. It’s just a regular factory life at 112/113. We show up, do the shifts, and then head home to do it again tomorrow.
