Chary Craft

Our place, Chary Craft, is in Hindon Vihar, specifically Sector 49 in Noida. It is a bit tucked away in a corner of the block at A-43. We have been working out of this space for a while now. It’s mostly just a big room filled with tools and pieces of wood and different materials we use for crafting things. The floors are almost always covered in sawdust or little scraps of fabric depending on what project is happening that week. We don’t really have a big staff, just a few of us who enjoy making things with our hands. Sometimes the weather in Noida makes it hard to work, especially when it gets really humid and the wood starts to act up. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some old windows we keep open to let the air move through. Usually, we are here from morning until late at night if a big order is due. We don’t have a showroom or anything. If you want to see what we are doing, you just have to come into the workshop and look around the tables. It’s a mess most of the time, I’ll be honest about that. But we know where everything is. We take things one day at a time here. It's just a simple life of making things and hoping the electricity doesn't trip too often while we are using the saws. We just keep building stuff.
