Near Abc School in Model Town, you'll find us at Delhi G P O F 11-1 Part 2. It’s a bit of a mouthful for an address, but most locals just know it’s the place with the stacks of metal. We deal with iron mostly. It’s heavy work, moving pipes and sheets around all day, so the floor is always a bit dusty and the air smells like metal. Being near the school means things get pretty crowded when the kids are finishing up for the day. You have to be careful when we’re loading trucks because the street gets tight. I usually spend my time counting stock or talking to the laborers who need specific pieces for building work. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk tucked in the corner where the ledger stays. If someone needs a few rods or some specific iron supplies for a home repair in Model Town, they stop by. It’s not the kind of place that looks pretty, but it gets the job done. My hands are usually stained by the end of the shift, and my back aches from the heavy lifting, but that’s how it goes when you’re running an iron store. We try to keep things organized so we can find what a customer needs without too much digging through the piles.
