Sai Food House is located over in Sector 53, right across from C-82 in Chohan Market, near Gijhor Vilay. It’s a lively little spot where things are usually moving pretty fast. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area, making sure everything is ready for the folks who stop by during their lunch breaks or on their way home from work. Chohan Market is a busy place, so there is always a lot of noise and people walking past our door. We don't have a big fancy dining room; it’s more about the food and getting it to people while it’s still hot. The staff here has been together for a while, and we’ve got a bit of a routine going, even when it gets hectic. Sometimes the delivery bikes are lined up outside, and the kitchen gets pretty warm, especially during the summer months. We don't put on any acts here. It’s just plain cooking and serving the neighborhood. Gijhor Vilay has a lot of character, and being part of the market means we get to see all sorts of people every day. We just keep the stove going and try to make sure we don't run out of ingredients before the day is over. It’s a simple life, but we like being right in the middle of the action and seeing familiar faces come through the door.
