We set up Sahi Dawaat in Alfa NRI City Centre because it seemed like a good spot with people always moving around. It’s not a big place, just enough room for a few families to sit together. The lighting is a bit bright, but it works for seeing what you’re eating. We do a lot of takeout orders because people are usually in a hurry to get home. The kitchen staff stays pretty quiet, just focusing on getting the plates out. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up when it’s really hot, and we have to open the door to get some air moving. We don't have a big team, so if three tables arrive at once, things might slow down a bit. We try to keep the menu simple so we don’t mess things up. It’s mostly stuff we know how to cook well. You won’t find any fancy decorations here, just some basic pictures on the walls and plain tablecloths. It’s just a place to get a meal. We’ve had the same regulars for a long time, and they don’t seem to mind that the menus are a bit worn at the edges. We’re just happy to be part of the City Centre. It’s a busy life, and we’re just doing our part to feed the neighborhood without making a big deal out of it.
