Sahi Dawaat

We’ve been here at Alfa NRI City Centre for a while now. Most days it’s just us trying to keep up with the lunch rush when everyone comes out of the offices looking for something to eat. Sahi Dawaat isn't fancy, just a place where the kitchen stays busy and the floors get swept when we find a minute. We deal with the usual stuff like the fridge acting up or the delivery guys waiting around near the door. It gets loud in here when the fans are on full blast during the summer. We don't really do much talking about goals or anything, we just show up and start cooking what's on the menu for the day. Some people have been coming here since we first opened the shutters. The chairs aren't the newest and sometimes the salt shakers need a good wipe, but that’s just how it is when you’re running a spot like this. We handle a lot of take-away orders too, so there’s always bags sitting on the counter ready to go. It’s a lot of work, especially on weekends when the mall gets crowded. We just keep the stove going and try to get the orders right. Nothing more to it than that. You find us right near the main walk. It's a simple life, really. Just cooking, cleaning, and hoping the rain doesn't leak through the front door when the storms hit.
