We are located at Shop No. 8 in the Lavkush Market, right on the main road in Hoshiyarpur. Sector 51 can be a real headache with the traffic, especially near the V. D. S Market area. You can usually hear us before you see us because of the grinding and the welding sounds. We have got all kinds of metal scraps around the shop and tools scattered on the benches. It is a messy business, fabrication is. There is always black soot on our clothes by midday. We just take the orders as they come and try to get the measurements right. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when we have a lot of big frames to build. The main road is always busy so there is a lot of dust blowing in from the street. We keep a cooler in the corner for the summer months because it gets really hot with the torches going. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get backed up. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't wearing a welding mask at the moment. It is a straightforward way of doing things. We have been here at Sahaba Fabrication India Co. for a long time and the neighbors know us. We just keep doing the metalwork and try to stay out of the way of the traffic outside.
