S M Metal Co. is our little operation located in Imam Nagar, Jagat Pur. We are quite close to the Khairea Bridge, which is how most people find their way to us. The area is a bit tucked away, but it works for what we do. We deal with metals, so there is usually a lot of scrap and different pieces lying around the yard. It isn't the prettiest place to look at, but it is functional and we know where everything is. We spend most of our time sorting through materials or weighing things for customers who come by. It’s a small team, mostly just family and a couple of helpers from the neighborhood. We don't use any high-tech systems to keep track of things; we mostly rely on our notebooks and our memory. The bridge nearby is a good landmark because the roads around here can get a bit narrow and confusing if you aren't from around here. We’ve been here for many years, and the neighbors all know us by now. We don't put out ads or try to convince people to come in. People who need metal usually find us through word of mouth. It’s a quiet way to run a business, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day, making sure we stay fair with everyone who drops by to see what we have.
