R.V. Steels

You can find R.V. Steels at C-111, Sector-10 in Gautam Budh Nagar. We’ve been in this sector for quite a long time. It’s an industrial area, so there isn’t much in the way of scenery, just rows of buildings like ours. We work with steel, which means a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the crane. The yard is usually full of metal beams and sheets. It gets very hot in the summer out there, and the metal can almost burn your hands if you aren’t careful. We don’t have a big corporate office. Our workspace is just a small room with a fan and some old filing cabinets. We aren't really into fancy titles or formal meetings. We just talk about what needs to be delivered and who is coming to pick up what. The noise of the machinery next door is pretty much constant, so you have to talk loud to be heard. Sector-10 is a busy place, and there’s always a truck blocking the road somewhere. We just handle the day-to-day tasks as they come up. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just make sure the steel is where it’s supposed to be. It’s hard work and it can be dirty, but we’re used to it by now. We finish up around sunset and lock the gates at C-111. It’s a straightforward way to make a living for all of us.
