Ruchi Steel is over at B 126 in Phase Ii. It is basically a big shed filled with different types of metal and steel beams. If you come by, you’ll hear the sound of metal clanging and probably see some sparks if someone is cutting a piece to size. It’s a dusty place and we are usually covered in a bit of grime by the end of the shift. We aren't a big corporation with suits and boardrooms. It is just a bunch of guys who know about steel and how to move it. We spend our time loading trucks and cutting orders for customers who come in with their lists. Sometimes the order is just for a few pipes, and other times it’s a whole truckload of sheets. We don't have a formal sales process; we just tell you what we have in stock and how much it costs. The office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main floor, and it’s always a bit loud in there because of the machinery. We’ve been in Phase II for quite some time now, so most of the builders around here know where we are. We don't put much effort into making the place look nice, because it’s a steel yard, and it’s meant for work. We just focus on getting the right pieces to the right people without making a fuss.
