Presco-Mec Group

Presco-Mec Group is based out of Plot No. 9C and 9D in Sector 6, and if you’ve spent any time in this part of the industrial sector, you know it’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We’ve got a couple of plots here that stay busy from early morning until the sun goes down. The yard is usually full of raw materials and people moving things around with forklifts. It’s not the quietest environment, but we’ve all grown used to the thumping of the presses and the general clatter of a working factory. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or making the front office look like a hotel lobby. It’s a workspace, plain and simple. Most of the guys have been here for years, so they know the machines better than they know their own backyards. We have our fair share of rough days when a part doesn’t fit or the weather makes everything sluggish. Rain is the worst, turning the yard into a mess, but we just throw on some boots and keep moving. We eat lunch together in shifts, usually talking about local news or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It’s a predictable life in many ways, but there’s something good about seeing a pile of work get finished by the end of the week. We just keep our heads down and handle what’s in front of us, one job after another.
