Nandu Pan Shop

Nandu Pan Shop is tucked away in Sector 44 Gali No 3. It’s not on a main road, so you have to know where you’re going to find us. We like it that way. Most of our customers are neighbors who have been living in this lane for years. We know their names, their families, and exactly how they like their pan. The shop is tiny, just big enough for me to sit and reach all the jars and containers. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the kids are out playing in the street. I start the day by cleaning the stall and setting everything out neatly. There’s no rush here like there is in the bigger markets. We take our time. Sometimes I sit out front on a stool when it’s slow. Gali No 3 is a tight-knit place and we feel like a part of the furniture here. We don’t sell anything fancy, just the basics done the way people expect. The light in the shop is a bit dim in the evenings, but it adds to the feel of the place. We’ve been at this address for a long time and seen the kids grow up and have their own families. It’s a small life, but it’s a good one for us. If you’re ever wandering through the lanes of Sector 44, you’ll find us there, just doing what we’ve always done. We stay open until late at night for everyone.
