Mubarak Steel Fabricators

The shop at A-5 Govindpuri is where we do all our welding and cutting. Mubarak Steel Fabricators isn't a big factory, it’s a working workshop where there’s always the smell of burnt metal and sparks flying around. We’ve been at this spot for years. If you need a gate fixed or some window grills made, this is where we do it. Most of the guys here have been working with steel since they were kids. It’s loud and dusty in Govindpuri, especially in the afternoons when everyone is busy. We have stacks of iron rods and sheets piled up against the walls. There isn't much space to move around once we start a big project. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, but that’s just part of life here. We don't have a front office or anything. You just walk in and talk to whoever is holding the welding mask. We handle basic stuff mostly. It's hard work and the sun makes the metal get really hot in the summer. We just try to get the pieces joined up straight and delivered on time. People in the area know us because we’ve been at A-5 for so long. We use old machines that still work better than the new ones. It’s just a place where we work with our hands and get dirty every single day. We usually close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning.
