Mittal Steel India Limited

Our office is in Noida, over at Kailash Dham in Sector-50. Specifically, we are in Block-5, room C-302. It is a bit unusual to have a steel company office in a residential area like this, but it works for the kind of administrative work we do. We don’t have any furnaces or heavy rolling mills here, obviously. This is where the planning and the paperwork happen. We spend our time talking to suppliers and checking on the status of steel orders across India. The 201307 area of Noida is pretty well-connected, though the traffic near the sector gates can be a mess in the evenings. We’ve got a small team here that manages the logistics and the sales side of things. It’s a lot of looking at spreadsheets and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the month. We aren't big on corporate meetings or long presentations. We just sit down, look at what needs to be shipped, and make the calls to get it moving. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, which helps when you have to concentrate on complex orders. We’ve been at this address for a while and have a good routine going. It’s not a flashy setup, just a functional space where the work of a steel company gets managed day by day.
