If you are ever in Nehru Place, you might come across us at number 102. Mahak Fast Food & Restaurant is a busy little place in a very busy part of town. Nehru Place is famous for being a hub of activity, and we are right in the middle of all that energy. Our shop isn't a fancy dining hall with white tablecloths. It’s a practical spot where people can grab a bite while they are out doing business or shopping for electronics. I’ve been working here for several years now. The kitchen is always active, and you can hear the sounds of cooking from the moment we open. We have a few tables and chairs, but they are often full during the lunch hour rush. It gets pretty loud and crowded when the office workers come out for their break. We try to keep things moving fast because everyone is always in a hurry in Nehru Place. The walls have a few simple decorations, but we mostly focus on the food and getting the orders out quickly. I usually spend my time at the front, taking orders and making sure everyone gets what they need. It’s a lot of work, and by the end of the shift, we are all pretty exhausted. But it feels good to be part of such a lively area. We don't use any corporate scripts or anything. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors. That’s just how we run things here at 102.
