Maa Vaishno Steel & Cement Store

If you’ve ever driven past the main chowk in Sector 41, you’ve probably seen our stacks of cement bags and steel rods. We are right there in J Block, across from the Sector 49 police station. It’s a noisy spot with all the traffic, but it’s good for business. We started this store to help people in the neighborhood get what they need for their construction projects without having to travel too far. Buying steel and cement is a heavy job, so we spend most of our day loading up trucks and checking inventory. It’s dusty work and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. It's just a local shop where you can get honest materials. My brother and I usually handle the counter and the workers help with the heavy lifting. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when it rains and we have to cover everything up fast. We’ve seen a lot of houses go up in this part of town over the years. It feels good to know our materials are literally holding some of them together. We don’t have fancy brochures. People just come in, ask for a price, and we see what we can do. It’s just how we’ve always done things here, keeping it basic and reliable for the builders.
