Our workshop is over on Noida Sadar Bazar Road, very close to the Indian Oil Petrol Pump. You’ll hear the sound of metal being cut and the bright flashes of welding if you walk past. We make things like iron gates, window grills, and different steel frames. It’s a hot and noisy place, especially during the summer. There’s usually some scrap metal in the corner and tools spread out over the workbenches. We take our time to make sure the joints are strong because that’s what matters for security. People bring us sketches of what they want, or sometimes they just explain it with their hands. We do our best to get the measurements right. It’s not a polished store, it’s a working shop with grease and iron filings on the floor. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought if the design is tricky. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit now and the petrol pump nearby is a handy landmark for anyone trying to find us. We don't have a big marketing plan, people just see our work in the neighborhood and come by. It’s just us and our tools, getting the fabrication work done day by day. We often have to stop for tea when the heat gets too much, but the work always gets finished. It’s a bit messy here, but we know where everything is kept.
