Lotus Fabrication

Lotus Fabrication is over on Plot No.A-70 A in Sector-10. We are right by the Noida Stadium, so we see a lot of people heading that way for matches or exercise. Our plot is basically a big open space with a roof where we do all our metal work. It is not the cleanest place because there is always some welding or cutting going on. You will see sparks flying and hear the sound of grinders for most of the day. We have stacks of iron and steel pipes leaning against the walls. It is a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. The heat from the torches makes the summer days pretty hard, but we take breaks and keep moving. We mostly do small jobs for people in the neighborhood or bigger parts for other businesses nearby. There are about five or six of us here most days. We don't have a receptionist or anything; you just walk in and find someone who isn't wearing a welding mask. We keep the ledger in a small wooden drawer. It is honest work and we like being near the stadium because there is always some life on the street. We finish up when the sun goes down, lock the gates, and head home to get the dust off. It is just a simple fabrication shop doing what we can with the tools we have. Some days are longer than others.
