Indian Weaves

We operate out of Prangan Appartments in Sector 62. It’s in B Block, unit 708. Noida is always under construction it feels like. There’s always dust or a new road being dug up right outside. We focus on weaves and fabrics. It’s something we’ve been doing for a while now. The apartment is where we keep the samples and handle the coordination. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. Just a workspace filled with stacks of different materials. Some days it is very quiet and other days the phones won't stop ringing. We get people asking about different types of cloth all the time. The UP side of the border is quite different from Delhi. A bit more hectic in some ways. We have a small crew. We mostly talk to suppliers and try to make sure the quality isn't dropping. It is hard to find good consistency sometimes. We drink a lot of coffee while going through the inventory. The view from the 7th floor isn't bad when the smog clears up. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do right by the people we work with. It's a lot of manual checking of threads and patterns. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the samples all day. That's just the job. We keep it local and try to keep things moving.
