Down in Sector 80, at E 39, you will find us at Han Sung Metal. It is an industrial area, so it is never quiet. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal and machines humming in the background. We are not a huge corporation with suits and boardrooms. It is mostly just a few of us in work clothes, dealing with raw materials and getting orders out the door. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. It is hot in the summer, really hot, but we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. We handle a lot of different metal parts. Some days we are busy with one big order, other days it is a bunch of small things for different people. Managing the inventory is a bit of a headache sometimes, especially when a shipment is late or the quality is not what we expected. We have been at this address for a while now. Most people find us through word of mouth rather than some fancy ad. It is a practical business. We get the job done, pack it up, and move on to the next one. It is not glamorous work, and my hands are always dirty, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on the machines and the orders we have for the day.
