If you’ve ever been to Paharganj, you know it’s a bit of a whirlwind. Go Chaatzz is right at Laxman Puri Chowk, number 48. It’s a corner where everything happens. You’ve got the tourists with their big backpacks, the local shoppers, and the rickshaw pullers all fighting for space. Our shop is right in the thick of it. I’ve been at this chowk for a long time. I’ve seen shops open and close, but we’re still here at 48. It’s not a quiet place to work. There’s always someone honking or yelling. But I like the energy. Laxman Puri is a busy intersection. We start prepping early because the midday crowd is no joke. I have a small team, mostly just guys from my village. We work hard and don't complain much. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have some stools, but most people just stand and eat. It’s faster that way. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but who has the time? We’re too busy serving people. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little, and we have to put out planks for people to walk on. That’s just Paharganj for you. It’s a messy, loud, wonderful place and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We just keep our heads down and do the work, day in and day out, for everyone.
