Fine Steel Works

Our workshop is at E 16 in Sector 5, over in the New Market area of Harola. We are right across the street from the fire station, which is the best way to tell people where we are. The shop is always loud because of the metal being cut and the sound of the grinders. It gets a bit smoky when we are welding, so we try to keep the doors open. The floor is usually covered in small metal bits and dust that we have to clean up constantly. We have several large machines for bending and cutting the steel. It’s a dirty job, and we usually end up with grease and soot on our hands by noon. We make all kinds of things like window frames, gates, and metal brackets. People from the market often stop by to ask for small repairs. There isn't a showroom or anything like that; you just walk right into the work area. It gets very hot in the shop during the summer, even with the big fans running. We keep our tools on a wall board that has seen better days. It is a simple, hardworking place where we just focus on getting the steel work done correctly. We have been part of the Harola market for a long time and the fire station bells are just background noise to us now.
