D K Power Battery

D K Power Battery is located over in Khora Colony. We are at A-62 in the Nehru Garden area, which is right near S.N. Modern Public School. You can usually hear the kids playing during their break time from the shop. This place is all about batteries. We have big ones for inverters and smaller ones for cars and bikes. It is heavy work. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the terminals and checking the acid levels. The floor is concrete and has some stains because that is just the nature of working with batteries all day. It is not a place where you come to sit and relax. People come here when their car won't start in the morning or when the power goes out and their backup system fails. That is when they realize they need to see us. I have been in this spot for a while. The neighborhood is crowded and the lanes are narrow, but everyone knows where we are. Sometimes the delivery truck has a hard time getting through the street to drop off the new stock. I keep the old batteries stacked in the back. It’s a bit of a maze back there. I don’t use any complicated machines, just a few testers and some basic tools to get the job done. It is honest work and keeps me busy from morning until late evening. Most of my customers live right here in Khora.
