Surya Power Solutions

Sector 12 N-195 is where we are located. Surya Power Solutions is basically a big room filled with heavy batteries and inverter units. The floors are made of rough stone because the battery acid tends to eat through anything else over time. It’s not the kind of place where you want to wear your nice clothes. We spend most of our time lugging heavy boxes around or testing the voltage on units that people brought in for repair. There is always a faint smell of metal and chemicals in the air. The workbench in the back is covered in wires, pliers, and old voltmeters that have seen better days. Outside the shop, Sector 12 is mostly quiet compared to the big markets, which is nice because we can actually hear ourselves talk. Sometimes a customer comes in after a big storm because their backup system failed, and we have to spend the whole evening troubleshooting. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the address on the door. It’s hard work, mostly because of how heavy everything is, but we have been doing it long enough that we don't really mind the sore backs. We just keep the shelves organized and make sure the batteries stay charged and ready for whenever the power cuts happen. The overhead light flickers a bit in the afternoon but we haven't gotten around to changing the bulb yet. It's just a regular workshop for battery stuff.
