We are located over at G-59 in Sector 6, though some people get confused because the address mentions Sector 40 too. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always a bit noisy with trucks moving around and people shouting over the sound of machinery. Inside our unit, the air usually smells like solder and hot plastic. We make various electronic components here. It’s a lot of repetitive work, putting small parts together and checking them one by one. My hands are usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. We have a small crew and we’ve all known each other for a while now. The break room is just a table with some old newspapers and a kettle that takes forever to boil. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just focus on getting the boxes packed and shipped out on the right day. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed because of the weather or traffic, and we just have to deal with it. The lights in the back of the shop flickers sometimes, and we keep saying we’ll fix it, but there’s always something else to do. It’s just how Kaltonics Industries operates. We are just a group of people making things and trying to keep the machines running. It’s a lot of hard work and not much else to say about it, really.
