Classic Creations

Our shop is at D - 256 in the Hoisery Complex, Phase Ii. It is a busy industrial area with a lot of similar businesses around us. Classic Creations is basically a place where we make things every day. You will hear the constant hum of the sewing machines as soon as you step through the door. It is not very quiet inside, but we like it that way because it means we are getting things done. There are piles of fabric everywhere and bits of colored thread on the floor that we sweep up at the end of every shift. We are not trying to be some high-end fashion house or anything. We just make good, solid items that people can actually use. My sister and I started this a while back, and now we have a few helpers who stay with us. The lighting is not the best, but we have small lamps over the workstations so everyone can see what they are doing clearly. We spend a lot of time fixing small mistakes and making sure the seams are straight. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit for the generator, but that is just life in this complex. We do not have a fancy website or a sales team. We just take the orders and try to finish them on time. It is a lot of sitting and focused work. Most days we eat our lunch together at the back.
