If you come down to Maddur and look for H.No. 1-39/C in Gokulnagar, that’s where you’ll find us. Gokulnagar Farmers Producer Companylimited is a small gathering of us who live and work around here. Most of us have been in these fields our whole lives. We started this because it was getting harder to manage everything solo. Now, we share the load. We talk about what crops are doing well and how to get a decent deal for our harvest. It’s not a fancy operation at all. Our place in Gokulnagar is just a regular house where we keep our records and meet up. There’s usually a pot of tea going and someone complaining about the rain or the lack of it. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make life a bit more stable for the families in this village. We help each other with tools and advice when someone is stuck.
