Nirmalkanjar Turmeric Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are over here at 5-24/6 in Kanjar, right in Dilwarpoor. It is basically just a bunch of us who grow turmeric getting together because it makes more sense than doing everything on our own. Nirmalkanjar Turmeric Farmers Producer Company Limited started because we needed a way to handle the crops better. Most of the days you can find us around the village talking about the harvest or how the weather is looking for the next season. It is not some big fancy office or anything like that. We mostly just focus on the turmeric we grow in these fields around here. Living in Dilwarpoor means we know everyone and their families, so the company is more of a community thing. We take the turmeric from the farms and try to figure out the best way to get it moving. Sometimes the machines act up or the rain comes at the wrong time, but we just deal with it as it happens. Working together like this helps us stay organized even when things get a bit messy during the peak season. It is just hard work and a lot of yellow dust everywhere. We have been farming this land for a long time and this company is just the latest way we are trying to keep things going. It is pretty simple and we just take it day by day. We don't have much else to say, we just keep working the land.
