Swaran Singh

Our place is at A-5 Shad on Bodhan Road in Arsapally. We are very close to the Arsapally Water Tank, which is the main landmark around here. Swaran Singh is the name on the door. It is a simple setup in a residential and commercial mix of a neighborhood. We have been here for a good amount of time. The water tank is always there in the background, a big concrete thing that everyone knows. We do our work out of this small unit. It isn't a large operation. We handle various tasks that come our way, mostly related to local needs. The road outside can get a bit narrow when people park their scooters, but we manage. We spend our mornings setting things up and our afternoons catching up on the books. It’s a quiet enough area during the day, though it picks up in the evening. We don't use any fancy equipment or have a big team. It’s just us, working hard to get things done. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. We know the people on Bodhan Road quite well. The office is just a room with some chairs and a table, but it’s where we do everything. We just take it one day at a time, making sure we finish what we started before we close up for the night. I think it’s been about ten years since we first moved in here.
