Down in Issapally, you will find the Armoor Avaniputhra Farmers Producer Company Limited. Our office is just at Hno 4-81. It is a simple place in a rural setting, far away from the big city lights of Hyderabad. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to work together to get better results for our families. Most of us have been farming this land for our entire lives, just like our fathers did before us. We meet up at the office to talk about seed prices, weather patterns, and who needs help with their harvest. There is not any air conditioning or fancy carpet here. We sit on plastic chairs and drink tea while we discuss the day's business. It is a lot of hard work out in the sun, and our hands are usually stained with dirt. We do not have a website or anything like that. If someone needs to talk to us, they usually just walk through the door or catch us in the fields. The walls of the office could use a fresh coat of paint, but we would rather spend that money on better tools or fertilizer. We just want to make sure the farmers in our area get a fair shake. It is a community effort more than anything else. We take pride in what we grow and how we look after each other in this small corner of Armoor. It is a basic life, but it is ours.
