If you are looking for Alayna, you have to go down Street Number 14 in Zakir Nagar. Our shop is number 2, part of building 96c. It is very close to the SBI Bank in Jamia Nagar, which makes it easier to explain to people who don't know the area well. The street is quite narrow so it's always better to walk than to try and bring a car in. We have a lot of neighbors who have been here as long as we have. The shop itself is small. We have shelves lining the walls from floor to ceiling to make use of all the space. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction work nearby. We spend our days mostly sorting through stock and talking to people who wander in. It isn't a quiet place. There is always music playing from one of the other shops or the sound of bikes zooming past. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It is just us and our regular work. Sometimes we run out of tea and have to send someone to the corner stall. The floor is a bit uneven in the back room so you have to watch your step. We’ve thought about fixing it but we just haven't found the time yet. We are just a local part of the Jamia Nagar community.
