Amit Watch & Spects

We are located at 24 Dadi Seth Agiyari Lane, just off Kalbadevi Road in the Kidwai Nagar area. It’s a bit of a unique setup because we do two different things here: watches and spectacles. Half the shop is full of eyeglass frames and lenses, and the other half is for watches. It might seem like an odd mix, but both need a lot of precision and tiny tools, so it actually makes sense to us. If someone breaks their glasses, they usually need them fixed right away, so we do a lot of frame repairs and lens fitting. At the same time, we might be changing a battery or adjusting a watch strap for someone else. The lane outside is usually quite busy with people and deliveries, but inside we try to keep things orderly so we don't lose any small screws. We have a lot of different frames, from the basic ones that just get the job done to some that look a bit more modern. We don’t have a big corporate team, just us working the counter and the repair desk. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and people know they can just drop by with their broken things. We try to be honest about whether something can be fixed or if it’s time to get something new. It’s a practical shop for the local community, and we like it that way. Most people around here call me by my first name.
