Aditya Birla Retail Ltd is our name, and our spot is tucked into the J&K Pocket in Dilshad Garden. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of residential blocks and small shops all mixed together. Being at 181-A means we are right in the thick of things. It’s not the biggest space, but we make it work for what we need. The morning shift usually starts with someone unlocking the shutters while the neighborhood is still waking up. You can hear the vegetable vendors outside and the traffic starting to pick up on the main roads nearby. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and people moving boxes around. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. Sometimes the heat in Delhi gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. Most of the people working here live close by, so we don't have long commutes. We don't have fancy meetings or big corporate lunches. Usually, someone brings food from home and we all eat together in the back when there’s a quiet moment. It’s just a regular workplace in a busy part of Delhi. We try to keep things organized, even if it gets a bit chaotic during the busy hours. It stays quite noisy until the evening.
