City Umberella

City Umberella is based in Shahdara at Plot No B/202, Street No 5, Kabir Nagar. It is a humble shop where we keep a lot of umbrellas of all sorts of colors and patterns. If you walk down Street No 5, you will find us easily enough among the other local businesses. The shop is filled with long boxes and umbrellas hanging from the ceiling to save space. We spend our days mostly organizing the stock and talking to people who come in because they lost their umbrella or need a new one for the season. In Kabir Nagar, the weather can be quite unpredictable, so we always have to be ready. When the sun is beating down, people want those umbrellas with the silver coating on top to stay cool. Then there are the days when the sky just opens up, and we are busy from morning till night. We have a small bench inside where we sit when there are no customers. It is not a very fancy operation at Plot No B/202. We just focus on having enough umbrellas for everyone. The street outside is usually full of kids playing or people going to the market nearby. We have a good view of the neighborhood from our doorway. It is a bit cramped inside with all the merchandise, but we manage to find what people are looking for. It is just a regular life here in Shahdara, selling umbrellas one by one until the day ends.
