Wyndham Worldwide

We are set up at E-61 on College Lane in New Delhi. It is a bit of a hidden spot, not right on the main road, which is actually quite nice because it stays a little quieter. The building is older, like many in this part of the city, and has that specific smell of old bricks and paper. We do the work for Wyndham Worldwide from here, mostly managing various bits of the hospitality business. It isn't a fancy hotel itself, just the administrative side of things. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea because the local shops are a bit of a walk away. The desks are a bit crowded together, and we’ve got folders stacked up in most of the corners. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other’s families and stories. On rainy days, the lane gets a few puddles that you have to jump over to get to the front door. We spend our days on the phone or checking emails about properties all over. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to be flashy or impress anyone with a big lobby. We just come in, do the work that’s required, and head home. It feels more like a small family business than a global company when you’re inside these walls.
