Amara Hotel

We are located in Greater Kailash Part-1, right at C-30. It is a very busy neighborhood in Delhi. Amara Hotel is a relatively small place compared to those big international chains you see elsewhere. We mostly deal with people who are coming into the city for work or those visiting their family nearby. The traffic on the street outside is almost always loud and chaotic, but inside we try to keep things a bit more relaxed for everyone. We have a small crew working here. Everyone has to help out with whatever is needed at the time, whether it is carrying bags or helping out with the breakfast service in the morning. It is a lot of checking people in and out and making sure the laundry gets done on time. We do not have a massive ballroom or any of those extra features. It is just a straightforward hotel. We spend our days answering the phone and showing people to their rooms. GK-1 is a good spot because everything is close by, but it means we are always on our toes. Sometimes guests have a lot of specific requests and we just do what we can to help. The nights can be long when we have late arrivals, but that is part of the job. We just keep the lobby lights on and wait.
