Woodstock Hotel

You can find Woodstock Hotel at A-26 in Nizamuddin East. This is a quieter residential part of the city, which makes it a bit different from the usual hotel spots near the station. We are tucked away in the neighborhood. The building is a regular house that’s been used for guests for a long time. We have a small number of rooms. It’s not like staying in a big hotel chain with a lobby. Here, you just come in and we show you to your room. We have basic furniture, beds, and some cupboards for your clothes. The windows look out onto the trees and the houses nearby. It’s a bit of a walk to the main road, but many people like that because it stays quiet at night. We don't have a big restaurant, but we can manage some simple food if someone needs it. Mostly, people stay here because they want to be in the Nizamuddin area. It feels more like staying at a relative's house than a hotel. We handle the laundry and the cleaning ourselves. It’s a small operation. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a front desk that stays open 24 hours with five people. It’s just us. Sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood, but we have a backup for that. It’s a modest place. We just try to keep it comfortable for whoever comes through our doors for a night or two.
