Vista Hotel

Our hotel is located right in the middle of the NDMC market in Yusuf Sarai. It’s Shop No 1 A, which is easy to find once you get into the market area. Being so close to the Sultanpur metro station means there is always a crowd outside. It’s a busy, noisy part of Delhi, and we are right in the thick of it. The hotel itself is quite compact. We don't have a massive lobby with fountains or anything like that. It’s just a front desk and then the rooms. Most of our guests are here for short trips, maybe they have an appointment at the nearby hospital or they are just passing through for work. The stairs are a little steep, so we usually help people with their bags if they have a lot of stuff. It gets quite dusty with all the traffic and the construction nearby, so we are constantly cleaning the floors. My brother and I take turns at the desk, and we have a few guys who help with the cleaning. We aren't a big chain, just a small independent hotel. Sometimes the water heater takes a minute to get going in the morning, but it works eventually. The market around us has everything you might need, from fruit to phone chargers. It’s a practical place to stay if you don't mind the hustle and bustle of a Delhi market. We try to keep things quiet inside, but the city noise always finds a way in. That is just how it is in Yusuf Sarai. We’ve been here since the market was much smaller.
