Uppal'S Orchid Hotel

You can find us at B 38 Anand Vihar, right in the middle of Uttam Nagar. This part of New Delhi is always moving, and we are right there in the thick of it. The hotel stays pretty steady with people coming in from out of town or just looking for a place to stay while they sort out their business in the city. It is not the biggest building on the block, but it fits in just fine with the rest of the shops and houses. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are ready and the lobby is clear of too much clutter. The staff here is mostly local, so we know where to get the best tea or which rickshaw drivers are the most reliable. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a spot for people to sleep and get their bearings. The traffic in 110059 can be a bit of a headache, but once you step inside, it's a bit calmer. We have been running things this way for a while now. It's a lot of laundry, keys, and answering questions about how to get to the metro. We just try to keep things running smoothly so the guests don't have to worry about the small stuff. There is always something needing fixing, but we manage just fine.
