Uppal'S Orchid Hotel, New Delhi.

We are based in Uttam Nagar, specifically in Gali No-1. The address is Wz - 204. It’s a typical Delhi neighborhood, so it’s pretty crowded and there’s always a lot of noise from the main road. We’ve been running this hotel for a bit now, and it’s a lot of work. Every day we’re checking the rooms, making sure the fans work, and dealing with the usual house stuff. It’s not a five-star place with marble floors everywhere, but it’s ours. We don’t use those big words like excellence because we’re too busy actually working. If a bulb blows out, we change it. If a guest needs extra water, we bring it up. It’s straightforward. Some people find the location a bit tricky to navigate because of the narrow lanes, but we like being part of the community here. The staff are mostly local guys who live nearby. We don’t have a big mission statement. We just want to keep the place clean and make sure the bills are paid. It’s a practical business.
