Tube Investment Of India Ltd. operates out of the second floor of the Jeevan Deep Building. Our address is 10 Parliament Street, which is a pretty well-known area. It feels a bit different being near all the government buildings. The ceilings are high, and the walls are thick, so it has that old-school Delhi feel to it. Working on Parliament Street means you see a lot of activity outside, but inside the Jeevan Deep Building, things are usually a bit quieter. We deal with industrial parts and investments, so it’s a lot of technical talk and financial stuff. The office is organized in a way that’s very traditional. Big wooden desks and heavy chairs. We spend most of our time on the computer or attending meetings that seem to go on forever. It’s a bit of a walk from the metro, but the area is nice for a walk after lunch if it isn't too hot out. You can tell the building has history just by looking at the elevators and the corridors. We don't have any flashy signs inside. It’s just the company name on the door and a lot of work happening inside. People think because of the address it might be very posh, but it’s actually quite a plain, hardworking environment where everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. Sometimes we have to deal with the security protocols of the area, but that’s expected.
