You will find us at Plot No. Z-234 in the Loha Mandi area of Naraina. This is the heart of the iron and steel trade in Delhi. It is a gritty place with a lot of dust and heavy trucks constantly moving in and out. Our office is right there in the middle of all that action. We spend most of our time tracking shipments and talking to drivers. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. Most of us are in casual clothes because the work is messy. The desks are covered in papers, and there is always a layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we clean. We’ve been at this plot for quite a while now. Loha Mandi has its own rhythm, and you have to get used to the loud sounds of metal hitting metal. We don't have a fancy showroom. People come here because they know we have the stock they need. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and our afternoons dealing with deliveries. It’s a very practical business. We drink a lot of tea to get through the day, especially in the winter when Naraina gets quite cold. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We are just here to do our job and handle the steel trade as best as we can. It's a busy, unglamorous life.
