Akash Steel Fabricators

You can find Akash Steel Fabricators over at No. 14 and 15 in the Local Shopping Complex. We are right by the Janta Flats in Dilshad Garden. It is a lively area with people always moving around the shops. Our workshop is usually the one making all the noise with the saws and the welding going on. There are sparks flying and the smell of hot metal is pretty much always in the air. We keep a lot of steel rods and sheets leaned up against the walls, which takes up a lot of the room. It is a tight squeeze sometimes when we are working on a big frame or a gate. The floor is covered in metal shavings, no matter how many times we sweep it up at the end of the shift. People from the flats nearby often drop in to ask about a small repair or to see if we can make something specific for their balcony or door. We don't have a showroom with finished products; you just see what we are building right then and there. It is hard work on the back and the hands, but we have been doing it this way for years. We just take the measurements, cut the steel, and join it all together until the piece is done. It is a simple life centered around the anvil and the torch.
