You can find Anupam Hotelwares (India) over at C-142 in the Naraina Industrial Area, Phase-I. It’s a busy part of Delhi where there’s always a lot of heavy lifting going on. Our warehouse and office are combined into one space, so it’s always filled with the sound of boxes moving and the clinking of metal hotelware. We deal with everything from pots and pans to larger kitchen equipment, and the shelves are usually packed to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been in Naraina for years, and we’ve seen the industrial area grow and change around us. The office part is just a few desks tucked into a corner where we handle the invoices and talk to customers on the phone. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t spend money on expensive carpets or art for the walls; we’d rather just keep the inventory moving. During the summers, the warehouse gets quite warm, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. Our staff has been with us for a long time, and we all just pitch in wherever help is needed. It’s not a glamorous business, but every hotel and restaurant needs their supplies, and we’re happy to be the ones providing them from our little spot in Phase-I. It's just what we do.
