We have been here at New Janta Flats for a while now. It's a small spot in Possangipur, Janakpuri, mostly just us and the computers. People come in to ask about train tickets or how to get a visa. Sometimes the printer doesn't work right and we have to fix it while a customer waits. We handle a lot of paperwork. It gets busy in the mornings when folks are trying to plan trips before work. Janakpuri is a crowded area, so finding the flat can be tricky for new people. We usually tell them to look for the landmark nearby. Inside, it's pretty simple. A few desks, some chairs, and plenty of maps pinned up. We don't do anything fancy with the decor. It's mostly about getting the forms filled and making sure the dates are right. Traveling is a lot of work even before you leave the house. We spend our days checking schedules and making calls. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing. If you walk past Pg-119, you'll see us there. It is just a regular office where we try to keep track of everything. We've seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. The flats are old but they stay cool in the summer. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the stacks of bookings. That is just how it goes here in India. We try to stay organized but sometimes the papers just pile up on the desks.
