Clayplay - Premium Travel Concierge

We operate Clayplay out of a coworking space called Coworkin on Ring Road in Lajpat Nagar 4. Being in New Delhi, especially in a busy spot like Lajpat Nagar, means there is always noise and people moving around right outside the door. Inside, it is a bit different. We sit at our desks and spend the day looking at maps, flight schedules, and various hotel bookings. We call ourselves a travel concierge, but really, we just spend a lot of time on the phone and the computer trying to figure out the best ways for people to get from one place to another. It is a small operation. We do not have our own private building; we just use the shared desks and facilities here. It is actually quite helpful being around other small businesses and freelancers. Sometimes we grab a tea or coffee in the common area and talk about the latest travel rules or weird flight delays that are happening. Ring Road is always jammed with traffic, so we usually just stay put and get the work done. We handle a lot of boring details that people do not want to deal with themselves when they go on a trip. It isn't a glamorous job, despite what people might think about the travel industry. It is mostly sending emails and checking prices over and over again to see if they changed. We like being in this part of South Delhi because it is central, even if the parking is a total nightmare. It is just us doing our best to plan trips that do not fall apart.
